Join Stonewall Quarter Share in the Fire Island Pines for a day of sun, surf, and philanthropy. There will be a complimentary bar all day AND we'll have the amazing DJ Mike Borowski spinning! DAY TRIP!*** SQS will be leading the day trip from Penn Station. Of course, if you can't make it that early, you are welcome to join us any time during the day. The SQS group will meet by the main LIRR ticketing counter. Our full itinerary for the day is as follows* To Fire Island 8:45 AM Meet at Penn Station in front of the LIRR ticket windows (near the 1 Train and the McDonalds). See below for information on buying tickets. 9:12 AM Train departs Penn Station, transfer at Jamaica station. 10:42 AM Arrive at Sayville Station, take van to Sayville Ferry 11:20 AM Ferry leaves for Fire Island Pines, arrives at 11:40 AM At the Island 11:50 AM to 12 PM Arrive in the Pines. 12 PM to 2 PM Hit the beach at the end of Atlantic Walk 2 PM to 6 PM Party at 4 Ocean Walk* 6 PM to 8:30PM Head to Low Tea at the Blue Whale in the harbor Back to Manhattan 8:30 PM Meet at the Pines harbor 8:45 PM Take ferry back to Sayville 9:31 PM Train departs Sayville station to Manhattan 11:14 PM Arrive back at Penn Station *please note, our party officially starts at 2 PM and ends at 6 PM. Coming early for the beach or staying for tea is optional. To get to Fire Island (via LIRR) from Penn Station, take the train to Sayville Station. Note: There are no direct lines to Sayville, so you will need to transfer at either Jamaica or Babylon stations. At the Sayville station, there will be vans that will take you to the Sayville Ferry for $5. Take the Pines bound ferry to Fire Island, which will drop you off at the Pines harbor. The only caveat is that the tickets are restricted to same day use.
