Fire Island Pines Party

Fire Island's Pride celebrations, officially the Pines Party, take place in the second half of July. Described as the pinnacle of New York's queer nightlife, and one of the jewels of Fire Island's party calendar, Pines Party is a three-day circuit party worthy of the airfare. People gather here to dance all day and night on the sand and streets of Fire Island. Inhibitions just don't exist here. Pines Party also acts as a charity event, with proceeds going to the Stonewall Community Foundation and local charities in Fire Island and New York City.
