Though it'll set you back a few, the Pines Bistro consistently serves up quality dishes to a predominantly gay clientele.

By far the nicest restaurant on Fire Island and the only one I'll eat dinner at. Food is Italian/American and very well prepared. Always a lot of daily/weekly specials. Good martini selection. Great ambiance. Usually pretty good service. Drawback is that it is somewhat pricey -- always comes to about $80pp for app+entree+drinks. Much cheaper to cook at home, but this is a good option when you're feeling lazy!
