what happened?
was there this past weekend..havent been there for a few years..no tea dance anymore? just relentless drag shows. funny for an hour or so but all day??? both bars? boring..no club scene at all..what the hell happened? used to be packed with great music and dancing and every sunday afternoon was a blast..itll be years again if i go back.
Horrible... Minus 5 out of 10 points...
Went to the pool party in ice palace this Sunday. Drag queens-very low grade for performance, trashy, idiotic comments with no sense whatsoever, self absorbed with one goal - collect money from people there. They don't give a fuck. Nothing constructive, only destructive elements - no wonder str8 community looks at us down... Music: horrible. The only thing I enjoyed was the drink. 2 hours wasted there for nothing.
Great Summer spot
I went for my birthday July 22-25 2010 , my friend and i had a blast! The underwear party one that everyone should experience , must i say more? The Saturday at the Ice Palace the pool party was very entertaining and the drag queens did an excellent job working the crowd. There so much to see and do there you must visit.
Great underwear party
Went one night in matching underwear with my friend. The staff was awesome and waved us in with our Belvedere bracelets. The staff/bartenders were attentive (and I'm picky because I am a bartender). We had a LOT of fun. lol.
HOT Underwear parties
The Daniel Nardicio Underwear parties hosted this past summer have been HOT. Much improved over the ones held at the Tides last year. Lots of people, hot boys of all shapes and sizes, and just good fun. And of course a crazy back room... I do hate that it's a mandatory clothes check to get into the main bar, and they charge you $3 on top of the $10 cover.
